Now we again serve our traditional Christmas Lunch:

 

 

Christmas Lunch

We begin with the herring:

Curry spiced herring with egg salad and cress

Helle’s Christmas herring with anisette and port

 

Then a little more fish:

Cured salmon with fennel salad and mustard sauce

Smoked eel with scrambled egg and chives

Pan-fried filet of plaice with pickle sauce and lemon

 

Next serving:

Slices of apple-fried pork

Rib roast of pork with pickled red cabbage

Breast of duck prepared with rosemary and orange

Danish chicken salad with bacon

 

Now the cheese and sweets:

Two Danish cheeses with garnish

Ris a la mande with warm cherry sauce
